The Kumu Procurement Capability Diagnostic
For many organisations, procurement capability is difficult to assess objectively. Procurement teams may be delivering day-to-day purchasing activity effectively, yet organisations often struggle to determine whether their procurement function is operating at the level required to manage complex supply markets, regulatory change and increasing commercial expectations.
The Kumu Procurement Capability Diagnostic was developed to provide organisations with a structured assessment of procurement capability. Delivered through a comprehensive survey completed by procurement professionals and relevant stakeholders, the diagnostic evaluates procurement capability across key areas including strategy, governance, supplier management, commercial capability and sustainability.
The results are analysed using the Kumu Procurement Excellence Framework and presented in a detailed capability report. The report highlights strengths, identifies areas for improvement and provides practical recommendations to support capability development.
For many organisations, the diagnostic provides valuable insight into how procurement is operating across the organisation and where capability improvements could deliver meaningful value.
If your organisation would benefit from an independent assessment of procurement capability or is exploring opportunities to strengthen procurement performance, Kumu would be pleased to help. Please get in touch to discuss how we can support your organisation.
