Our commitment

Kumu is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We're working to ensure our site meets recognised accessibility standards and continue to improve it over time.

Standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more usable for everyone.

What we've done

Our website is built on Squarespace, which includes a number of built-in accessibility features. We've also aimed to:

  • Use clear, readable text and sufficient colour contrast

  • Provide descriptive alt text for images

  • Structure content with headings so it can be navigated with a screen reader

  • Ensure the site can be navigated using a keyboard

Known limitations

We're aware some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. We're working to address these.
